My Story
I am running to support both the Fashion & Textile Childrens Trust and Aid International Development because I believe in both of these causes.Every year the FTCT provides grants to ensure children of workers in fashion & textiles have access to essentials like clothing, bedroom furniture, and appliances. I realise with the recent cost of living crisis and pandemic it has put a strain on families that work in the retail/fashion industry and I would love to support these familes in any way possible.
Aid International Development is a trust that fundraises for various local charities in countries like Zambia, India, and Guatemela. They also send build teams out to help with local construction projects. I am happy to be donating part of the proceeds to this chartiy because I want to help tackle the ongoing issue of poverty in third world countires.
I love to run, so I thought pushing myself to run the London Marathon would be a perfect opportunity for me to raise money for people in need while challenging myself. I would love it if you could support me in this journey. Please donate whatever you can.
