My Story

For the past 22 years AID International have been supporting grass-roots projects globally serving the very poorest in society. It partners with charities across the world who are working to provide sustainable change in their areas; targeting poverty, homelessness, sanitation and bringing street children into homes. It supports ongoing work in Mozambique, the Philippines, India, Zambia, Guatemala and with Charity Water - all with beautiful stories of lives changed and hope restored.

Running has been an important mechanism for me to manage the season of working as a doctor during the pandemic. Whilst putting one foot in front of the other I have been able to reflect on the lives lost and the grief and anxiety felt by so many. Running has helped me rebuild the physical and mental resilience that the pandemic stripped away. It is now with great determination that I run for a charity that brings hope.

I am running for AID International because I believe serving the seemingly insignificant in society is the most significant thing you can do.
