My Story

I'm running the London Marathon to raise money for our son's school, Moor House School and College. This amazing school provides education and therapy to children with primary speech and language disorders such as Developmental Language Disorder (DLD). Jacob has made great progress since he started there in secondary school. In addition to improving his speech, literacy and numercy, they support him in accessing a horticulture course at a nearby college. The staff are incredibly caring and skilled. They teach students essential life skills to promote independence and help them achieve their potential. Children with severe speech and language disabilties achieve extraordinary outcomes at Moor House and through the work of the Research and Training Institute they also help progress global research and training in the field of speech and language disabilities.
