Mr Sparky

My Story

After waiting 2 1/2 years Mr Sparky is finally getting the chance to get his running shoes on, to hit the streets of London in the 2022 TCS London Marathon.

His training partner, NGK's National Field Sales Manager, Stuart Bayne, takes up the story.

Initially Sparky got a place in the 2020 LM, but of course this was postponed due to CV19 , so he finally gets the chance to take on the 26.2 miles on October 2nd.

He is working hard to get fit for the day and although a couple of years older and like many, maybe a few pounds heavier, due to lockdown and working from home, he is determined to do his best on the day and complete the course in the best time possible.

He is raising money for a worthy cause, the Downs Syndrome Association, who are committed to improving the quality of life for people who have Down’s syndrome, promoting their right to be included on a full and equal basis with others.

If you could donate, Sparky and I will be most grateful,

Thank you.

Stuart.
