My Story

A few years back I became acutely ill and ended up in hospital...I was diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis...a condition I was completely unaware of. Thanks to the support and literature that was available to me via this charity I was able to aid my recovery and has given me the ability to reduce my dependence on medication to prevent any relapse.

Crohn's has also impacted on my life though the suffering it has caused for my cousin,  particularly in his younger years. I know he values the support and information this charity provides and many of his  family events have requested donations to this cause rather than flowers or presents.

These conditions are so often unheard of or overlooked and many of the people affected by them can become very chronically ill and result in debilitating circumstances.

Please help me support the wonderful work this charity does by sponsoring me as I take on the London Marathon in October.  I am hoping to complete the course in 4hrs and 30mins. Any donation,  no matter the size, will help me achieve this target and make a great contribution to a worthy charity.  And any support on the day will be greatly appreciated...2nd October 2022!!

Many thanks
