Ryan Hand - London Marathon
Ryan Hand
My Story
There's no denying it - cancer absolutely sucks!
Unfortunately the big 'C' has knocked on my family's door more than once.
In March of this year, my beautiful cousin Noleen, a previously fit and healthy 41-year-old wife and mother of 3 died after a short battle with the disease.
In May 2008 my wonderful mum Pauline died from ovarian cancer, and in 2005 my lovely auntie Eileen died from the same form of cancer 3 years earlier.
Sadly Christine's family have also suffered the same fate as mine, her Uncle David, Aunt Eleanor and Uncle Fra have all passed away within little over a year.
Too many good people are dying... Family, friends, it's all we ever hear - but we can all help and do our bit.
Now I'm going to cut to the chase - I need you're hard earned cash.
I'll be running the London Marathon on Sunday 2nd October to raise vital funds for Marie Curie to support the essential service provided by their nurses and amazing staff.
So - be an absolute HERO and donate whatever you can so that Marie Curie can continue to look after our loved ones during the tough times.
Thanks you absolute legends,
Ryan
