Running in Memory of Emily for The Arthur Rank Hospice

My Story

I am running the 2022 London Marathon in memory of my beautiful stepdaughter Emily Parsons. Emily was diagnosed with a rare and highly aggressive spinal cord tumour in October 2020 and tragically passed away just 6 months later in May 2021, she was just 22 years old. During Emily's short illness she received the most incredible care from the Arthur Rank hospice in Cambridge both at home and on the inpatient unit. As a family we will be forever grateful to the Arthur Rank team for their outstanding care and support. This is my opportunity to raise funds for this incredible charity so they can continue to provide outstanding services to other families at their time of need. Thank you for your generosity and support.
