My Story
My name is Paul and I work at Sagitta Marine, S.A, a shipping company that operates ships, and from my position I see the opportunity to combine a dream of running the London Marathon and contributing a grain of sand to causes that are not known by the media but that they are really important and that many do not know, so it is necessary to support and make them known.
We are in a world in constant change and the last few years have been very hard for all economic sectors worldwide, being affected by economic issues, pandemics, wars and politics and the maritime sector continues to move the world connecting us day by day.
The Seafarers' Charity is a fundraiser with a vision to create a world where seafarers and their families are valued and free from want and disadvantage, with over 100 years working and helping people in the maritime world. A great friend invited me to support this foundation and without hesitation my response was positive.
Anyone who knows me well knows that this is not the first time that we have sought to support institutions and make a difference. In 2019, thanks to the support of all of you, funds were raised for a children's foundation in Venezuela, managing to provide food to more than 200 children during that year a goal that was achieved for their contributions via the Medellin Marathon.
Today we continue with new dreams, following my journey to do the Six Marathon Majors and London is on the list of the next marathon to achieve, in addition to advancing in my personal goal, the intention is to support The Seafarers' Charity in achieving their goals as well.
The big question I would ask, would you like to be part of this dream? What would the world be like if we all helped each other to achieve each of our dreams? Magic is within us and with it we can be the difference...
