My Story

We're running the London Marathon in aid of Disability Snowsports UK! To help them carry on the fantastic work they do in helping all people participate in snowsports, regardless of disability, injury or experience.

But who are, Disability Snowsport UK (DSUK)?

Well, DSUK is the leading adaptive snowsport charity which provides expert lessons throughout the UK, as well as opportunities to ski and snowboard in a mountain environment worldwide. DSUK believe that taking part in adaptive snowsport has the power to transform a person’s relationship with not just their disability, but with all aspects of their lives. Everyone should have the right to access the unique physical, mental, and social benefits of snowsport, regardless of disability, injury, or experience. Local groups sponsored by DSUK offer recreational skiing in a supportive, friendly and knowledgeable environment. This enables disabled skiers to develop their skills, make friends and experience the freedom of skiing and snowboarding. From complete beginners to lifelong participants, snowsport enables disabled skiers and snowboarders to experience freedom, build confidence, improve health and wellbeing, and enjoy social support in everyday life.

The money we raise, will provide hundreds of hours of lessons and slope time for disabled children and adults so that they can find the joy of being on snow and being included alongside friends and family.

Thanks for your support!
