My Story

On Sunday 2nd October 2022, I will be running the TCS London Marathon to raise money for Headway Sussex, a specialist charity supporting people living with a brain injury. A brain injury can be caused by a stroke, infection, sporting injury, assault or trauma. They can be life-changing for the person involved and also their immediate family. Roles and responsibilities can change overnight and everyday tasks can become challenging.

Why Headway Sussex? My Wife’s Aunt is a Trustee at Headway Sussex and over the years I’ve become aware of the work they do to support people within their communities. I’ve fundraised for them previously but this is my first London Marathon and I jumped at the chance to run for them. I hope it will be memorable for me and worthwhile for Headway Sussex. Thank you for supporting me and donating to Headway Sussex!
