My Story

When the opportunity to take part in the London Marathon 2022 came up, the timing was perfect for me.

After going through the most challenging past few years, that any of us have seen, I knew I had to take part and set some positive challenges that will see me working hard mentally and physically, hitting personal target and goals, all to achieve for a great cause.

I'm so thankful for the oppurtunity to personally contribute in making a difference for the better and i'm looking forward to fundraising for Child Rescue Nepal.

I'll now be busy training and fundrasing for the run on 2nd October 2022.

Why I'm raising money for Child Rescue Nepal

The Charity has been rescuing and caring for vulnerable children in Nepal since 1999 who are either being exploited or at risk of being Trafficked.

The Charities work consists of Recuing Children, Reuniting families, care and support and prevention.

Child Rescue Nepal Impact

• Raised over £7 million for Nepal’s children.
• Rescued over 850 children, with ongoing support in many cases.
• Pursued the prosecution of 24 traffickers, helping to jail 14 in Nepal and India.
• Supported a case in the High Court against a well-known Nepali trafficker.
• Currently caring for 42 children in our small family-style homes.
• Improved education for 50,000 children in the trafficking-prone district, Makwanpur.
• Raised £150,000 for earthquake relief in 2015 and delivered a comprehensive school reconstruction program.
