My Story

Hi Everyone,

First, thank you for showing interest in supporting me to raise money for Charity!

As you may already know, I pledged to raise £1800 for the Whittington Health NHS Trust Charity. I plan to achieve this goal by getting sponsored to do the London Marathon.

I am really excited about challenging myself to complete a full marathon (26.2 miles), particularly because I recently done a half marathon (13.1 miles) in the Big Half event!

I have chosen The Whittington Trust Charity due to my close ties to it.
All of my siblings were born at Whittington Hospital, one of which was born premature. This sibling spent a substantial amount of time in the Hospital's Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). During her time at the Hospital she received excellent care, was treated with best equipment, and by staff who were both professional and compassionate.

I am convinced the quality care my sibling received is because of the work done by the Hospital's Charity.
For years they have been funding projects for which the NHS has no budget. I have first hand experience of how patients, staff, and the community are benefiting from the Charity's work.

Please help the cause by giving any amount you can afford to sponsor me to complete the London Marathon.
All funds raised will go directly to the Charity, who
will put the funds to immediate use. The funds you give will go towards improving facilities, equipment, staff training, and medical research; all of which play a huge part in overall patient experience and staff wellbeing.
