My Story

I am fundraising for the Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM) in memory of Alan.

After finishing the London Marathon in 2010 and 2013 and Brighton Marathon in 2019, I thought my running capability was limited to half marathons. However, London feels like unfinished business as I nursed injuries both times.

Shortly after collecting a personal best time at the age of 52 in the Cambridge Half Marathon, I finally got a place in the London Marathon for 2022 to prove (not disprove!) my theory that under 4 hours 30 is achievable and that experience counts more than age!!

I would greatly appreciate your help in raising lots of money for the amazing CALM charity. You really will be saving lives...........
