I am an ophthalmologist in the Netherlands. Many years ago in 1996 as a medical student I had the opportunity to do research on diabetic retinopathy in Zimbabwe. Seeing the impact and effect of the Eye camps and eye care on people's lives there I choose to become an opthalmologist and I have never regretted that choice. I would be very pleased to be able to contribute to the important work of orbis worldwide.
