Climbing peaks and pounding pavements

Three Peaks June 22

Three Peaks June 22

My Story

Four mates. Three mountains. Twelve hours of driving. 37km's hiking. 2,983m of ascent. Just 24hrs to do it all!

Masih, Jake, Johann and Lochie are going to give the Three Peaks Challenge a crack next week. We will be raising money for Sense, a charity that does some amazing work with the deafblind and others living with complex disabilities in the UK and all over the world.

For those unfamiliar with the National Three Peaks Challenge the goal is to summit the tallest mountains in England, Scotland and Wales all within 24 hours! We will be setting off at around 7.30pm in Wales to climb Mount Snowdon (1,085m), then driving through the night to climb Scafell Pike in the Lake District (978m) before attempting Scotland's Ben Nevis (1,345m) on Thursday afternoon ...all with the aim to be sat having a pint in Fort William before 7.30pm the next day!

It won't be easy and we'll need everything to go our way to make it within the timeframe, but we would certainly be greatful for any support that comes our way! Great opportunity to support a fantastic charity.

P.S. If you couldn't guess from the link, I (Lochie) will also be running the marathon with Sense later this year, so using this challenge as another fundraising opportunity!
