My Story
Well, you made it to my fundraising page... Whilst I have your attention let me tell you why I brought you here, who I am and who Imago Community are.
About me:
I am a 25, probably 26, year old (my age is not that important) gay man in London. I have previsously run a few half- marathons, cycled 500 miles and walked a marathon at night... Each of these events I completed for charities because if I am running or cycling 13, 26 or 500 miles why not do it for a great cause at the same time?
As a sufferer of mental health issues, I recognise the great impact organisation like imago can have on people, giving them the support needed to thrive.
Who are Imago and what do they do?
Imago is a little known charity that do great work. They deliver a range of services designed to support and empower some of the most vulnerable groups across Kent, Medway, East Sussex and London. They work hard to deliver innovative projects working for; children and young people, young carers, unemployed young people, people living with a disability, adult carers, older people, socially isolated people, mental health awareness for young people and community transport.
Please donate whatever you can!
