My Story

I'm Kerry and I am running the TSC London Marathon 2022 in support of our amazing NHS

Running the London Marathon has always been a bucket list goal, and I am honoured to have been given the opportunity to do so whilst raising money for our NHS. I have met so many amazing people whilst working for the NHS and the Trust, and at The Michael Palin Centre for Stammering, who help so many adults and children with life changing therapy.

Whittington Health Charity works alongside Whittington Health NHS Trust to provide services that go beyond the scope of what the NHS is usually able to provide, from community wellbeing to palliative care, long term conditions and much more. I have seen first hand the monumental difference these additional services such as palliative care can make for people and their families during these final moments.

Please donate and help me in my goal of raising £2,000 in support of the NHS!

This will be my first time completing a marathon, and my run will also be in honour of my late grandfather, Prof. Mike Levell (MA PhD, FRCPath), who contributed so much to health and medical research during his life, despite many health related setbacks. This example of attitude and perseverance against all odds is a testimony to his character, and this run is dedicated to him.
