EVAN'S LONDON MARATHON 2022
Evan Seigerman
My Story
I will be running the London Marathon on Sunday, October 2, 2022, in support of Action Medical Research for Children. Action is the leading UK charity funding vital research to help defeat devastating childhood diseases. Their work resonated with me, as my late father, Dr. Harvey Seigerman, devoted his entire professional career to the well-being of children, as a respected and admired pediatrician. He was the first in his family to attend college, studying at New York University and then attending The University of Chicago Medical School. His impact on the health and welfare of so many young people is meaningful, beautiful, and humbling.
I run London, in celebration of my father, whose dedication to family and community, and his work to save and change children’s lives, will stay with me, motivate me, and bolster me always. He will be with me as I run through the streets of London, as he is with me every day. He would be so proud of this adventure and my support of Action Medical Research for Children. I ask you to please consider donating to Action as well.
