My Story

A school outdoor experience absolutely changed the course of my life when I was 14. So did completing my Duke of Edinburgh award.

I had heard lots about the work of The Outward Bound Trust, but got first hand experience when I took a group from my previous school on a week long residential there. I was blown away by the professionalism of staff, the real wilderness the children got to experience and the fact that the course was totally catered towards their needs and interests.

They are genuinely a one of a kind outdoor education provider.

Im delighted that the money I fundraise go towards supporting children from disadvantaged backgrounds accessing programmes run by the Outward Bound Trust, which could be a once in a lifetime oppertunity which could plant the seed for a lifelong enjoyment of wild places.
