Bethany’s MNDA Fundraising Page
Bethany Cook
My Story
Having set out and trained to run the (then cancelled) London Marathon in April 2020 to raise awareness of the disease that my Dad was valiantly fighting at the time, I will now be running in October 2022 in my Dad's memory, as sadly he lost his well fought battle in March 2022.
I am grateful that in 2020 my friend Matt (whose Grandad had sadly previously also battled MND) and I together raised £14,443 for MNDA. I would love to raise as much as possible before I run this year.
Our previous fundraising page recognised that the energy, spirit, fight and resilience of those fighting MND was beyond all that we had ever seen. I stand by that, and am proud to be raising much needed funds and awareness for such an important charity, who continue to support those whose lives are affected. The money raised will be spent on research, to enable MNDA to keep fighting to find a cure.
Any donation, no matter how small, will move the funds closer to the target, so thank you in advance for the inspiration to get me running around the course in just under one month's time...
