My Story

I have worked as a nurse in the whittington for about 20 years and the last sixteen of those have been in intensive care. This year I have decided to run the London marathon to raise money for the Hospitals charitable funds. The last two and a half years have been the toughest of my and my colleagues careers but I am proud of the service we were able to provide to our community at a time when they needed us most. The charitable funds is a means of making improvements to our areas of work which benefit both patients and the staff caring for them and will allow us to continue going the extra mile. I am proud to have the opportunity to run for Whittington Health and I am looking forward to each of the 26.2 miles.
