My Story

I've supported Hospitality Action for a number of years and proud to be an ambassador for the charity too. Hospitality has been decimated during the covid19 pandemic and is only now recovering.

This is not my only motivation however, HA do amazing work in supporting industry colleges in need for various reasons both personal and indeed as a consequence of working in our industry.

It is brutal at times, and needs to improve, we all know that, and some are practising what they preach. I want to continue to do my bit in supporting Hospitality Action, who do great work for our people from a different angle.

This is my first full marathon after completing 3 half marathons in previous years. I'm starting from scratch again running wise after a little while out, with a few pounds to lose for good measure.
